Day of Bright Water

Our intrepid crew set sail from a much drier Eastbourne at 9:15am, sailing across almost benign seas, with moderate winds not exceeding force 5. A much pleasanter day than yesterday saw the Nancy Blackett arrive at Dover at 6:30pm, in time for a much deserved dinner.

Tomorrow's coastal forecast is for moderate-to-light winds, slight seas and occasional light showers, so the crew have planned for a very early start, destination Shotley.
